Formerly known as The Panda Gang and hailing from the seaside resort of Southport! These soulsters were once produced by the legendary Jimmy Miller, a producer for such bands as the Rolling Stones and Traffic.

The whole album reeks of Soul and Funk for all to enjoy on many occassions i feel im listening to the likes of Stevie Wonder such is the voice reverberating from the speakers, from track to track you find yourself either tapping your foot to the beat.or dancing in your armchair!

If i had to pick a track from this fantastic album which believe me isnt easy as all the tracks are sensational it would have to be "Lucky Like That"...this track has everything from the formentioned Stevie Wonder feeling to dare i say this a touch of Squeeze!!

"Lucky Like That"..a song that everyone will relate to having luck come your way(tuneee), "Crying Wolf"...the use of horns and piano make this song stand out from the crowd!, "Still Get The Same Old Kick"...enjoy the melody of this from the 1st note to the very last!, "Slow Burning"...the accoustic guitar work on this track has an edge not used enough today, "The Islands"...a song to which you can close your eyes and drift away in your own world, "Lay Low"...a real foot tapping groove soul beat, "That`s One Driven Man"...float to this soulfull tune and imagine your the driven man, "One More Time"...probably the second best tune on the album, makes me dance away, "Jingle Jangle"...groovy beat that makes you want to shout the lyrics out, "Sweet Relief"...now this tune reminds me so much of a Stevie Wonder(tune), "Honeydew Melon"...probably my least favourite, nevertheless, still an excellent tune, "William The Conqueror"...soul soul soul,oh yes get in the moment, "The Wrong Man"...becareful your foot dont drop off while tapping out the beat of this song! and lastly it`s, "Marathon"...a tune about life and how it can be a marathon, I think a lot of people will relate!!

Why this band isnt at the dizzy heights of success is anyone`s guess, perhaps with this album? I can`t see a reason why not if you buy anything this year make sure its an album like this one querky soulful and most of all a damn good listen!

This CD is available from all good record shops & online now!
